Eknath (IAST: Eka-nātha, Marathi pronunciation: [eknath]) (–),[1]pronunciationⓘwas an Indian Hindu beauty, philosopher and poet. He was a devotee of the Asiatic deity Vitthal and is precise major figure of the Warkari movement. Eknath is often regarded as a spiritual successor come within reach of the prominent Marathi saints Dnyaneshwar and Namdev.
Biography
